Primary 6 with Mrs Bonnar & Mrs Stuart

P6 are currently working with Mr Sinclair from Castlebrae High School's art department. We have been working with primary and secondary colours and shape. Our design board will be used to create a piece of clay art which will be completed in time for the holidays! In a few weeks time we will have completed works of art!

The Jack Kane intervention Programme has been working with P6 this term. Davie and Sue from the Jack Kane centre have organised a programme of study which helps us work together on issues that are important to us and our community. So far we have worked on Rules and Laws, Group Work and Communication. We will be looking at the Community, Stereotypes, Bullying and Internet Safety. We work in different groups each week, giving us a chance to work with everyone in our class. Plus it's really fun - take a look at our photos!

We have been doing lots of interesting writing in P6. So far this term we have written a spooky halloween story and we are working on the issue of firefighters being abused in Edinburgh and the Lothians. We will look at this issue from different points of view and produce a news bulletin with 'live' interviews from a firefighter, a concerned neighbour and different groups of youths.

Tour Guides - watch our journey!

We have started reading the script and having a go at reading the parts of different characters. It's going to be hard work learning our lines, but good fun at the same time. We can't wait to get dressed up in the costmes.

Meet our Pupil Councillors, Rebacca and Thomas.
