Craigmillar Castle Junior Tour Guides

Pupils in Primary 7 at Castleview Primary School are trained to conduct groups of pupils around Craigmillar Castle .  The Junior Tour Guides are dressed in 16^th century clothing and are in role as Sir Simon and Lady Elizabeth Preston – friends of Mary Queen of Scots – and their household. The Junior Tour Guides try to develop an idea of what life was like in the Castle during the time of Mary Queen of Scots.

School groups and other community groups are able to book a castle tour through the attached booking form.  The tour is free and provides an enjoyable and interactive historical experience for all ages.
